Well, what a fantastic start to the term we have had! We have now met all our new starter. Can I just say how amazed I am at how quickly they have all settled. You are all wonderful additions to our Little Wrens family. We are looking forward to getting to know you better over the coming weeks.
It may have been a shorter week than normal but that hasn't stopped us getting stuck into our new learning. Here is a snapshot of our learning...
Over the coming weeks we are going to be learning about how important it is to look after our world and explore ways that we can do this. This week and next, we will focus on how we can look after our oceans and protect our sea creatures. This week we have enjoyed sharing the story 'Commotion in the Ocean' and meeting lots of different sea creatures. As well as this, we have taken part in our phonics sessions. Our N1's have enjoyed singing nursery rhymes and our N2's have been introduced to the phoneme 'n'. In our mathematics sessions, we have explored balance scales and have been introduced to language 'light and heavy'.
Thank you all for a super first week back. Have a winderful weekend and I shall look forward to seeing you all again next week.
