All classes at Wrenbury Primary School are taught by a teacher supported by skilled teaching assistants to deliver the curriculum.

Each Base explores a broad, rich, balanced and creative curriculum designed around the National Curriculum. All year groups embed learning through termly Learning Journeys in which a wide range of key skills and knowledge are taught.

Foundation Stage (EYFS)

We deliver our curriculum through the 7 areas of learning:

Special Educational Needs

At Wrenbury, we are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils whatever their needs and abilities.

The school seeks to raise the achievement, remove barriers to learning and increase physical and curricular access to all. All children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are valued and respected as equal members of the school.

The school has excellent relationships with outside agencies such as Specialist Teachers, Education Psychologists and Learning Support Services.

The school's SENCO works closely with teachers to match the learning needs and styles of the pupils to the curriculum in order to reach the best outcomes for each child.

The school works very closely with parents encouraging their active participation in all decisions concerning their child as we value the contribution and critical role they play in their child's education.
