We all matter: 150 years, one future
Celebrating the past. Investing in the future.
Celebrating 150 years of our school – and 150 stories that made us.
This year marks a very special milestone in our school’s history as we celebrate 150 years at the heart of our community.
For a century and a half, our school has been a place of learning, friendship, and shared memories. Generations of pupils, families, staff, and governors have passed through our doors, each leaving their own mark and contributing to the story of who we are today. From changing classrooms and playgrounds to lifelong friendships and unforgettable moments, our history is rich because of the people who shaped it.
To mark our 150th anniversary, we are inviting our community – past and present – to help us bring that history to life by sharing 150 stories.
These could be:
Memories of:
school days, lessons, teachers, or friends
Stories of:
family connections across generations
Reflections:
on how the school has changed over time
Moments that:
made you smile, laugh, or feel proud
We are also inviting you to share any artefacts or memorabilia linked to the school’s history, such as photographs, old uniforms, certificates, programmes, or letters. These items will help us create a living picture of our past and celebrate everything that makes our school so special.
How to get involved:
Share your story by emailing 150wrenburystories@gmail.com
Bring any artefacts to school reception on any Friday between 2.00pm and 3.30pm
Whether you were a pupil many years ago, a recent leaver, a member of staff, or part of our wider community, your story
matters. Together, we can celebrate 150 years of learning, community, and pride and look ahead to the next chapter in our school’s journey.
