Little Wrens – Welly Wednesday

Another wonderful spring afternoon for our Welly Wednesday session in Little Wrens. We began by sharing the information book A Walk in Spring, looking carefully at each page and talking about the signs of spring we could see.

Inspired by the story, we put on our wellies and coats and headed out on our own spring walk. The children loved hunting for signs of the new season and were excited to spot daffodils, birds, trees and insects along the way. We even stopped to sit together and draw some of the lovely things we had discovered. Fantastic spring spotting, Little Wrens! 🌼

We finished our afternoon by enjoying snack in the sunshine followed by some balancing and climbing on the obstacle course – the perfect end to a busy Welly Wednesday.
