Little Wrens – Growing

Little Wrens’ learning has been led by the story Jasper’s Beanstalk. The children listened carefully to the story and enjoyed activities to support the oral retelling of the story. They also drew wonderful pictures of the main character, Jasper. We then talked about how we could plant our own bean seeds. The children explored new vocabulary such as trowel, compost and plant pot, and together we created a set of instructions for how to plant a bean seed. After that, it was time to get busy planting! Each child planted their own bean seed and we are very excited to watch them grow.

Hopefully there won’t be any giants appearing in Little Wrens!
