Base 1 had a wonderful time during their Welly Time outside, exploring patterns in nature! The children eagerly searched around the outdoor area, spotting patterns in leaves, tree bark, flower petals, and even on the cows in the field. They talked excitedly about what they saw, noticing how some patterns repeated in shapes, colours, and lines. After their nature hunt, the children used their own bodies to create physical repeated patterns – they clapped, jumped, twirled, and stretched in fun sequences, working together to build patterns that were both creative and full of energy. It was a joyful and active way to explore the world of patterns!
