Cross Country
: October 2016
On Tuesday 4th of October 2016 a team of year 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s took part in a cross country competition at Malbank playing fields. A total of 22 children attended the competition which is an excellent turn out.The first race was for year 3 boys and girls they had to do half a lap around the field. Then the year 4 boys and girls went round, their distance was a lap. After that the year 5 boys ad girls went round they had one and a half laps almost ten laps around our football pitch. Amazing! Then year 6 boys and girls had to do 2 laps of the field it was almost a kilometre it was extremely tiring. Everyone had tough competition as there were at least 70 competitors in each race, so everyone who participated had a hard job to get in the top 50 which almost everyone did. Everyone enjoyed the experience of representing our school.
