Today, Year 4 children have been learning all about symmetry! They've been spotting lines of symmetry in different shapes and even creating their own symmetrical designs. It's a fun way to explore patterns and think about balance in shapes.

Year 5 have been diving into reflection – not the thinking kind, but flipping shapes over mirror lines! They've been learning how shapes look when they're reflected, using both vertical and horizontal mirror lines and applying this to their learning about coordinates. It's a great way to build on their symmetry skills and get confident with shapes and space.
