Here is a little snippet of our learning recently, highlighting some of the fun activities through which we have been achieving new objectives and practising new skills.
Computing/World Book Day- we carried out data collections endeavouring to find out "Which book genre is favourite at Wrenbury"
After we carried out our questioning and gathering of the data, we collated the results and represented them using J2e, creating bar charts and pie charts.
Maths- Year 2s have been practising their times tables and using their skills to apply these to their Maths problem solving.
History- Base 3 were lucky enough to spend some more time with Wrenbury Model Railway Club, this time in our own school hall. The children absolutely WOWED the members with their scientific and historical knowledge and further learning since we last met. They remembered so much key information about the importance of the steam engine, how it works and key events in the timeline of the Industrial Revolution. We are very proud of our Base 3 children and their enthusiasm for their learning journey this term about all things 'Railways'.
