Base 3 Art

This term Base 3 have been focusing on creating 2D and then transferring this into 3D art.

The stimulus was fruit, so the children chose an item of fruit to explore and then went on to develop pencil techniques that represent true texture and surface.

They then practised how to do this in 3D form, using clay and various tools.

Their effort paid off and the results speak for themselves in their finished, painted pieces.
