Base 1 had a very mysterious and exciting day! After lunch, Mrs Evans found a piece of paper on her desk, and nobody knew who had put it there. When we read it, we discovered it was a clue, so we put on our coats and excitedly followed it. Outside, we found more clues until we finally discovered something very unusual in the forest area – an egg! We heard noises coming from inside, so we carefully brought it back to our classroom to look after it, even though we don’t know what’s inside. We shared our ideas with our friends, wondering if it could be a bird, a monster, or even a dinosaur! We then talked about how to care for the egg and decided to build a soft, comfy nest. After collecting different materials, we got to work, and now the egg is safe in its nest in our classroom. We can’t wait to see if it hatches! 🥚
