Wildlife Club's Adventures
Mr. Lauder: July 2015
Wildlife club update:
Yesterday we had great fun pond dipping with Charlie from the RSPCA. As you can see from our pictures we saw lots of wildlife and it was really exciting becoming biologists for the day!
In one of our yellow hoops we had a dark brown toad, a snail and some baby frogs and in the other yellow hoop we had 2 frogs, a slug, a worm and a woodlouse.
We also explored the pond area looking at other wildlife and found: shrimp, vegetation, mud, pond weed and worms.
Around the pond were other exciting finds including ants carrying eggs, rosy woodlouse, earwigs, young frogs and leopard slugs.
We hope you enjoy the pictures of our findings!
