Little Wrens – The Little Green Dinosaur

Little Wrens have had another ROARsome week!

This week we were introduced to the story The Little Green Dinosaur. We explored new language from the text such as fierce, spiky, slow, around, across and over, creating actions to help us understand and remember these words. The children used props to sequence the story and created their own story maps – wow! We have been so impressed with their growing storytelling skills. The children also enjoyed drawing the Little Green Dinosaur and getting creative by making their own spiky stegosaurus.

In mathematics, we continued to focus on the number four and took part in a range of activities to support the composition of four.

During our P.E. session, we practised bouncing a ball and observed some fantastic developing skills.
