Another sunny day! It was lovely to see Nathan and Laura on their climbing frame and to be able to wave hello to them this afternoon from the school field.

From Emma, Ellie's mum...
Hi to everyone, Hope you are keeping safe and well. Ellie has been doing some work on her Greek project this morning, making a mosaic urn. She has also made a Banoffee pie and enjoyed bashing the chocolate with a rolling pin. We are looking forward to eating it later, although I think Ellie may have had some of the chocolate already 😃. Ellie has been working hard at her reading and is currently reading about Anne Frank, which she is planning to do a book review, when she has finished it. We have had some really interesting conversations about Anne and our current climate. Hope you are all keeping safe and well. Best wishes It's lovely to see you Ellie – your Banoffee looks absolutely delicious – I'm sure it tasted delicious, too!

From Amberley, Olly's mum...
Hi Bessa, I hope you are all well! I just been scrolling through Instagram and came across a page called "fiveminutemum", the lady is a TA with two small children who is sharing a page from her book (with the same title) every weekday. They are great little activities to do with children up to the age of 5, which only take five minutes and uses things from around the house. Olly was talking about Mr Eaton the other day and saying how much he missed him! I'm sure he misses you all but especially Mr Eaton!! Best wishes This will make Mr Eaton's day, Olly! Thanks for sharing the good idea too, Amberley.

From the Robinsons, Emily's family...
Dear School, I hope you are all OK. We are very much missing you all but enjoying reading your updates and seeing what everyone is up to. Emily and her Dad have been enjoying building on Base 2's "Space" topic this week and have made their own international space station made out of Kinex. Tomorrow they are starting to learn about Tim Peake and his trip to the ISS. Emily made a list of 10 things she would take to space in a rocket – unfortunately Mum and Dad didn't make the cut... only unicorns, chocolate, pyjamas and colouring books! Missing you all, Love the Robinsons
Wow, Emily, your space station looks fantastic; very clever designing and joining! Oh dear, mum and dad...but there has to be space for unicorns and chocolate!!

Thanks for the lovely updates – they keep us all smiling – do stay in touch and stay safe. Bessa
