We're raising £1000 to ensure children at Wrenbury Primary School can participate in sports and fitness with all the kit they need in spite of funding cuts. The school competes in lots of sporting competitions across the school year and would like the teams to look the part in their very own school sports competition kits.

My name is Terry Whalley. I am a governor at the school and I will be taking part in The GauntletHalf Iron Man challenge at Cholmondeley Castle on Sunday 25th June 2017. This is the second event in the Castle Triathlon Series and involves competitors, like myself, undertaking:

  • A 2 lap swim in the Deer Park Mere (1.9km)
  • A 3 lap undulating cycling course around the length and breadth of the Peckforton Hills (96km)
  • A 21K run around Castle estate and stables of previous Grand National Winning horse Red Rum.

I very much hope that with the support of friends and family of Wrenbury Primary School pupils I can help the school raise the funds needed towards reaching its goal.

Please donate to my JustGiving Crowdfunding Page and help make it happen:

Yesterday, Reception spent the afternoon talking about how we can be kind. We had two new friends to help our learning called Terry Turtle and Winnie Wolf. We first explored different emotions and how our facial expressions may change depending on how we feel. After this, the children listened to a story about Terry and Winnie and an argument they had about sharing a crown. We spoke about how...
