Little Wrens – Welly Wednesday

We shared the story One Snowy Night by Nick Butterworth and enjoyed a discussion all about winter. We then wrapped up warm in our coats, hats, scarves and gloves, popped on our wellies, and headed out for a winter walk.

During our walk we had some lovely conversations, particularly about the different birds we spotted along the way. The children were very observant and asked thoughtful questions as we explored the signs of winter together.

Next week, we will be learning more about how we can look after our birds during the winter months. 🐦❄️
