Le Base Quatre Café
Mr Lindop: March 2019
Yesterday, Base 4 were whisked away to a 5-star new café for a spot of brunch. However, this was no ordinary café.
At our reading café, year 4 and 5 were treated to a 4 course reading meal, giving them the opportunity to "taste" different genres of books that they may not have tried before.
After looking at the cover, reading the blurb and the first few pages of the book, Base 4 wrote down their own thoughts on the different tastes that were on offer in their menus. Some were even surprised to find that they rather liked some things that they never would have tried before.
Bon appetit!
