GOLD!
B Cador: July 2017
We did it! We have been notified that the school has achieved Sainsbury's GOLD School Games Award for 2016-17.
This is a huge achievement for a small school and we are rightly delighted by the achievement and acknowledgement of all we do to promote sport and to encourage pupil participation in sporting events and competitions as part of a healthy lifestyle.
We have had a very successful year in football and cricket and athletics competitions but also have high rates of pupil participation in sporting events and extra curricula sporting clubs.
A very big THANK YOU to Miss Phillips, Mr Sargeant and Keiron Ellis (Sportscape) for their hard work, encouragement and commitment to delivering high quality sporting opportunities this year. A big thank you, too, to Mrs Winward, Mrs Griffin, Mrs Clarke and Mrs Francis for running sports clubs alongside Miss Phillips and Mr Sargeant.
