What a fantastic end to a wonderful term! We began with great music lesson, we composed our own music, basing it on the sounds of the Congo and the key parts of the end of our story. The children worked really hard on creating their own compositions, using a range of symbols to record their musical ideas. Well done Base 5- these were really complicated and you did a super job.
This week we also had our carol service and I think you will all agree that this was something really special. Year 6 — you were outstanding, you learnt your words and spoke with real expression, you also did a great job of singing- singing in 3 languages is not easy but you made it seem to be.
Our topic books have been completed and I have to say they were very impressive, you have worked hard on them and they really are a pleasure to look through. As well as completing out books we have also made gingerbread men with Mrs Heaton and enjoyed our Christmas parties. What a great end to a wonderful year.
Base 5- I wish you all a very merry Christmas and I hope that 2019 brings you lots of happiness. See you all next year!
