Base 4 Weekly Review
: November 2016
Wow Base 4! What a busy week we have had! We have looked at balanced arguments in English — debating whether or not we should wear school uniform! Some interesting ideas bounced around for sure! We have looked at lots of different connectives and how we can link our ideas together through paragraphs. In Maths we have finished off division and moved onto Shape. We have recapped 2D Shapes — using all of the key vocabulary (ask us what they mean!!) and will apply this to 3D shapes next week.
This is all without mentioning our trip to Chester Zoo. We were very lucky with the weather which stayed warm(ish) and dry and we got to see lots of different animals and explore different rainforest habitats. I must say Base 4 you were a credit to the school with numerous zoo staff commenting on how well behaved you were and how much you knew about the rain forest. Well done — Mrs Winward and I are very proud of you! A big thank you to Mrs Heath and Mrs Cawood for giving up their day to come with us and help out. We had a brilliant day and certainly earned our sleep that night!
Thank you to everyone who came to parents evening it was lovely to chat to you all. Feel free to grab me in a morning or an afternoon by the door if you need anything
