Year 3 Easter Hope Journey

This week, year 3 enjoyed a lovely morning at Broomhall & Sound chapel to celebrate Easter time. The children learnt all about Maundy Thursday, some children had the pleasure of experiencing a foot wash, they heard about the story of Peter, made crucifix crosses and met a newborn lamb and some adorable chicks. As you can see the children really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of new beginnings and how Easter represents this, as well as the meaning behind Easter eggs and the important messages from Jesus that they signify.
