Y5 Science Data

This week, our Year 5 pupils took their science learning to the next level by combining practical investigation with mathematical analysis. After carrying out experiments on thermal conductors, the children explored how different materials affected the rate of temperature change.

Working scientifically, pupils carefully recorded how quickly heat was lost over time. They then transformed this data into line graphs, allowing them to clearly visualise and compare temperature drops across different materials.
