World Earth Day – Little Wrens

Today in Little Wrens we marked World Earth Day and continued our learning based on the story Dear Earth. We spent time thinking about how special our world is and talked about simple ways we can help to look after it. We headed out on our Welly Walk where the children took part in litter picking, helping to keep our environment clean and safe. Back in Little Wrens, we got creative and made our own Earths. We painted paper plates blue, added soft cotton wool, and planted cress seeds. The children are very excited to watch them grow and thrive – just like our world will if we all do our part
