World Book Day Base 4

Today, Base 4 celebrated World Book Day. They have had a packed day full of exciting learning focused on books and reading. The children started the day with a book-themed assembly and then went off with another adult for a reading swap. When the children returned, they found four books that they had ordered ready for the summer term from the Education Library. After break, the children wrote their own blurb for a book we had been focusing on, and then they went on a character hunt around the school. Then, after lunch, the children completed their learning journey page all about World Book Day, and are ready to share it at the next learning journey sharing afternoon.
