World Book Day Base 3

We have really enjoyed celebrating a whole day full of reading activities and book related fun.

We have snuggled up in our comfies, taking time to simply immerse ourselves in our favourite books. We have written book reviews, started to collect data for our maths and computing lessons this week, using our information gathered from today and also taken part in a whole school book swap too.

The children had a reading session led by an adult from another classroom in school. The children loved hearing a variety of the adults' favourite stories! Reception's favourite part of our interactive read in "Bathroom Boogie" was shaking their bristles.

The children have been great at helping each other find appropriate and engaging books and also have had some lovely discussions about their favourite authors and why.
