Base 4 have been very busy this week. We have begun some exciting storm stories, deepened our knowledge of angles (our maths artwork is now looking rather fantastic), and we have discovered a wide range of new books, which have been ordered from the library. I'm looking forward to the delivery; which will be your favourite?
As well as this, we have been learning about the body; what the vital organs are and what the circulatory system is. We have been extremely lucky this week as Mrs King very kindly gave up her free time to help us further our understanding by dissecting a heart with us! The children were fascinated and, despite some feeling a little woozy, were mesmerised by how amazing our bodies are. What a wonderful week we have had.

What a fabulous week we have had getting ready for our harvest celebrations! In preparation for the harvest service next Tuesday we have been working hard to learn the words and actions for the songs we will sing as a class and with the rest of the school.
