Ms Huntington: November 2015
This week we have been very busy learning our songs for our Nativity, called Gabriel's Big Break, we are getting very good at them. You will soon be getting a letter with further details on costumes. We thank you for your support with this.
We have been learning about 2D shapes. We have played a guessing game and found shapes around our school. We are getting very good a making pictures with shapes and talking about them.
At story time we have been talking about characters in stories and next week we will be retelling our favourite stories.
We are still enjoying our pretend shop and Iona's mummy brought us in some real fruit and veg. On Friday she arrived with a very large pumpkin. Thank you to Iona and her mummy. I wonder if we can think of a story with a pumpkin in it?
All the children really enjoyed the Pizza Parlour at Underwater Street so Mrs Wimpenny has been busy all week making our very own pizza parlour! It is looking good!
This week we had a mummy and a granny who listened to readers thank you for coming into school. Our reading is getting very good. Thank you for all your support with reading at home, it is so very important.
We are looking forward to a very another very busy week. Early to bed and sleep all night so I can check you have sparkly eyes every morning!
