Towns Sports results

Wrenbury and Sound, as a joint team, competed in Town Sports this year and have finished in an amazing 2nd place overall! In the track events we finished in fourth place and in the field events we finished in 1st place which both contributed to the final result. This is a fantastic achievement considering we were competing against much larger schools.

I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the children who took part and showed excellent sportsmanship, but it wouldn't be possible without the support of the parents and carers who transported the children and stayed to cheer on the team despite the late finishes. We very much appreciate you giving up this time so that we can offer this experience to our children.

Our team should be extremely proud of themselves – well done to all of you!
