This week.....

Base 4 have had a busy last week of term. In Mathematics we have been using concrete objects and our place value charts to help us in our calculations and problem solving.
We have had fun researching in History and exploring railways and steam trains through photographs from the past and the present. We discovered many interesting facts and features relating to railways, building of the railways and various stations that still exist today. Of course it goes without saying that our first port of call was our own local station, Wrenbury. We discovered that many of the buildings from the initial opening of Wrenbury Station are still standing today but serving a different purpose. We still have a lot of research and exploring to do but we are excited about the next steps of our Learning Journey.
