Sustainability at Wrenbury

The Eco and School Council here at Wrenbury have been busy organising a clothes swap, which took place after school this afternoon.
This was an initiative that the children have planned independently, from our sustainability action plan that they have created together, to find ways that we can further improve our "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ethic at Wrenbury Primary School.

Thank you to all the parents who have taken part by bringing in clothes that are in good condition but no longer required, so that others can benefit from them in the swap today.

It was so lovely to see the children and parents taking advantage of this worthy event, and teaching their children that we don't have to buy new, sometimes we can reuse! This will help minimise the impact on our environment and ultimately our planet, which our children at Wrenbury are very passionate about.

We look forward to hearing what our Eco and School council have up their sleeves next!
