Sports Day Success for the Blues
B Cador: June 2019
Dark rain clouds didn't stop or spoil our Sports Day yesterday. After lots of running, racing and fun, the Blues pipped the Yellows to the trophy by 3 points with a winning total of 129. Natalie and Harry received the Ian Cowley Sporting Achievement Trophy from Susan Cowley on behalf of the Blues, before a victory run down the track by the whole team.
Results: Blue 129; Yellow 126; Red 112; Green 94
Thank you to Susan and Albert Cowley for joining us to present the trophy in memory of their son Ian; to all the parents, grandparents and governors who joined us to enjoy the races; to Lesley Midwinter, representing FOWS, for providing refreshments which raised approximately £150; to Ella-May's mum and Jessica and Reece's mum for helping sell the refreshments and to our fantastic Wrenbury Team.
Enjoy the photos.
