Shrove Tuesday – Little Wrens

Yesterday Little Wrens enjoyed a super fun day learning all about Shrove Tuesday. We enjoyed cracking an egg, sieving four, pouring milk then whisking the ingredients together to make pancake batter. During the afternoon, we took part in pancake races and pacake flipping. Finally, at snack time, we enjoyed a pancake with a traditonal topping of sugar and lemon – yum, yum!

What a 'flipping' great day we had!
