Science in Base 5

We have started our science in Base 3 this week learning about he circulatory system within the human body. We started this by creating a giant human body including body parts and organs. We then learnt about how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flows around the body in arteries and veins. The children had to deliver oxygenated blood to the body parts and organs and then return deoxygenated blood back to the heart.

We then learnt about the parts of the heart using our reading skills to find out how to heart works. Using this information, we then created and labelled diagram of the heart.
