School Council Speed Check

Yesterday, our school council members joined PC Sharron and PC Jasmine speed checking vehicles driving though our village. If anyone was caught driving over the 30mph limit they were offered the opportunity to speak with our school council children or have a ticket. Our school council children had a set questions to ask, planned to make drivers think about the impact of driving too fast. We have to say a big thank you to people driving though the village as the vast majority of people kept to the speed limit or lower. Thank you also to PC Sharron and PC Jasmine who helped to show our children that they can make a difference.
