B Cador: September 2020
It is with sadness that I am sharing the news that Jack McEvoy has passed away. Jack was on the governing body at Wrenbury when I was appointed as Head in January 2015. Two of his children, Ellie and Frankie were then in Year 6. I found Jack to be very supportive during my first two terms as head, before he stepped down in the July, when Ellie and Harry moved on to high school.
It is thanks to Jack and other members of the community that we have the path from the car park alongside the tennis courts to the MUGA gate and don't have to traipse across a grassed area; especially on days like yesterday!
On behalf of the Wrenbury Team, the governors and the Wrenbury school family, I wish to send Jack's family our deepest sympathies and let them know they are in our thoughts at this very sad time.
