Another fantastic morning was had by all as part of our Field to Fork project with Reaseheath college.
Today we prepared, cooked and plated up another delicious meal using the ingredients we planted on our last visit. Using a menu created by Simon Radley and taught to the children by Reaseheath students, the children made cheesy bread, pesto, and then roasted tomatoes to add to pasta.
After this, we went to the horticulture department where we planted more seeds in preparation for our next visit. Some of these we placed in pots in the large glass house and some went into the vertical farm as a trial.
