Owls and more
Mrs Dopierala: July 2020
Base 1 have been learning about owls this week. We have been finding out about different types of owls and where they nest. We read the stories Owl babies and The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark. We are making an owl using natural objects gathered from our outdoor area and Mrs Winward's garden. We have been looking at the life cycle of a barn owl. Mrs Charlesworth brought some owl pellets for us to have a closer look. We dissected them and collected the bones we found.
We enjoyed some junk modelling this week also and had fun working as a team.
