Nantwich Concert Band Visit

We had a very special start to our first day back at school with a wonderful visit from members of the Nantwich Concert Band. The musicians delighted us by playing Teddy Bears' Picnic and each performer took time to talk about their instrument. We learned so much about the flute, clarinet, bass clarinet and French horn, which was both fascinating and fun! To finish our fantastic assembly, everyone joined in singing Sweet Caroline creating a joyful atmosphere. The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the music and discovering instruments they may not have come across before.

A big thank you to the members from Nantwich Concert Band for such an inspiring visit!

They will also be performing in Nantwich town square on Saturday 25th April – do go along if you can and enjoy their wonderful music.
