Music for Life Assembly
Ms Huntington: April 2016
Today we welcomed John and Linda from 'Music for Life', who are a company that offer music tuition in schools.
They introduced us to lots of different instruments and played three amazing pieces of music. They explained the main features of the instruments and gave us demonstrations on how to play them.
We enjoyed learning about the range of instruments on offer. Some of the children had a go at playing the instruments, Linda made it look very easy!!
We hope that the assembly inspired some of our children to consider learning to play one of the instruments on offer. Music for Life will come to school to provide music lessons for any child from 4-11 years.
Well done to all the children who sampled the instruments and thank you to John and Linda.

The children loved the thought of this and we then learnt about the water cycle — the best recycling system! This...
