Maths fun in Base 1

This week, Base 1 have really enjoyed consolidating their learning of subitising. Everyone has grown in confidence when looking at different arrangements of dots and identifying how many there are without needing to count them one by one. The children were very proud of the progress they made and showed great enthusiasm during the activities. We then used this skill while having fun in the sunshine playing Snakes and Ladders, where the children practised recognising numbers quickly as they moved around the board.
