Little Wrens – Welly Wednesday

Today we shared the lovely story Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf by Lois Ehlert. We talked about the different shapes, colours and sizes of leaves and thought about how trees grow. We then popped on our wellies and headed outside for a leaf and tree hunt, looking carefully at the signs of autumn around us. To finish our session, we painted amongst the trees using beautiful autumn colours. It was such a lovely, calm and peaceful time spent surrounded by nature.
