This afternoon was Welly Wednesday and the children wrapped up warm to explore the outdoors during winter. We talked about how the colder weather changes our environment and why it is important to look after our world all year round.
While outside, the children took part in litter picking, showing great care and responsibility for their environment. We discussed why litter can be harmful to animals and plants and how small actions can make a big difference. The children were very proud to help keep our outdoor area clean and tidy, working together and demonstrating fantastic teamwork. We then finished our session enjoying snack in the sunshine!
A lovely wintery day of learning, caring for our world and enjoying the fresh air!
