Happy Friday Little Wrens!

Today, we have discussed the festival Bonfire Night. We learned that a festival is a time when people come together to celebrate and this weekend many of us will celebrate Bonfire Night. We talked about staying safe on Bonfire Night and how to hold a sparkler safely, we used a breadstick to practice! We looked at the different colours of fireworks and printed our own firework picture. We also enjoyed making our own chocolate apples, danced (along to Katy Perry, 'Fireworks') with streamers, made marks in paint and glitter and listened to and made the different sounds of fireworks. It';s been a super, fun, colourful day!

If you are going to be celebrating Bonfire Night this weekend, stay safe but more importantly have lots of fun!

I look forward to hearing all about your celebrations next week.

The water we were drinking may have been sucked up by the trunk of a woolly mammoth or even supped Tutankhamun! The children loved the thought of this and we then learnt about the water cycle — the best recycling system! This...
