Little Wrens – St. David’s Day Celebrations

This morning Little Wrens explored St David’s Day. We followed Mollie’s journey on CBeebies to learn how she celebrates this special Welsh festival and discovered why it is such an important day in Wales.

During provision, the children enjoyed a range of hands-on activities. They practised their fine motor skills by safely using knives to chop leeks, manipulated playdough to create their own daffodils, and painted beautiful daffodil pictures. It has been a wonderful morning of learning, creativity and celebration.
