It has been lovely welcoming all our Little Wrens back this week. I can see that you are rested and ready to enjoy our final half term of the year together – lets make it the best one yet!

Our learning continues to be based around the author Eric Carle and for the next few weeks the story that will lead our learning will be, The Very Busy Spider. Throughout the week we have read the story, we are now able to join in with familiar parts and guess which farm animal the busy spider meets whilst spinning her web. We have enjoyed threading to create our own web and counted out eight legs to make our own busy spider. In our mathematics sessions, we have recapped numbers 1-5. I have been so impressed with the children's knowledge and understanding of these numbers. In our Myhappymind session, we have been thinking about what makes a good friend. We learned that one of the qualities of a good friend is to be a good listener. Wearing our listening ears we have taken part in many activities to support our listening skills. We have also continued to take part in 'squiggle' 'dough disco' and 'sticky kids sessions'. It has been a very, very busy week.

Have a great weekend Little Wrens
