Base 5 transition

It’s that time of year when we all move up to our new class and meet our new teachers.

The new Year 6 and Year 5 were fantastic throughout Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon. It was lovely to have the new Year 6 back to teach and get to know the new Year 5 children. We explored what our school rules look like, created our pictures for our ACHIEVE wall and had a peek at our book for September. We only found out that the book is called Treason and it had a silhouette of Henry the VIII on the front. We will find out more after the summer holidays. Using the front cover, we have created the front covers for our new Learning Journey books already and they look fantastic!

I am looking forward to starting the new year with Base 5 and exploring exciting, new learning!
