What a super first full week we have had. Mrs Phoenix and I have been amazed at how settled the children have been this week and we have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know each other a little bit more. I can tell you that we love to cut, make, paint, balance, build and sing, but I think our favourite part of the day has to be snack time! We particularly love buttering our own toast and love the responsibility of using a jug to pour our own milk – we are fiercely independent! In other news, this week, we have explored colours and feelings with the Colour monster, continued to build friendships, enjoyed lots of activities to support our fine and gross motor development, drawn and painted our self portraits and made lots of observation of the world around us on our Wrenbury walks.

Next week, we will explore our sense of sight to look for signs of autumn.
