Little Wrens Minibeast Theme Day

What a Bug-tastic time we have had today!

Wow – you all looked absolutely wonderful in your minibeast costumes today! You were certainly ready for our exciting day of creepy crawly fun.

We began with a special assembly where we shared our minibeast story and song together – it was lovely to see everyone joining in so enthusiastically.

Back in class, we decorated biscuits to look like ladybirds (and they looked almost too good to eat!), then enjoyed getting crafty with some fantastic minibeast-themed creations.

Later, we headed outside for a minibeast hunt in the forest area. We loved flapping around like cabbage butterflies and searching high and low for ladybirds and other tiny creatures.

In the afternoon, we had a very special surprise – a visit from John and his amazing minibeast collection! We met a giant snail, a stick insect, a cockroach, a millipede, and then... the biggest surprise of all... a snake! I was so proud of how brave many of you were, even holding him around your neck.

It truly has been a wonderful day full of fun, learning, and laughter. Thank you to all my amazing Little Wrens – you made it a day to remember!
