This week in Little Wrens, our learning has been led by the story Michael Recycle. We have been learning that lots of our rubbish can be reduced, reused and recycled. We looked carefully at different types of rubbish and talked about what materials they are made from. We now know that we have different bins to help us recycle correctly. In our classroom, we have been working hard to make sure all of our items go into the correct bin – what recycling superstars you are! We have also been busy reusing rubbish items to create collages, musical instruments and even our own superhero masks and recycling truck using only recycled materials – wow!
In maths, we explored positional language such as in, under, behind and in front.
Despite the wet and windy weather, we still enjoyed our Welly Wednesday session. We went litter picking and then carefully sorted the items we found into the correct recycling bins — great job, Little Wrens!
