Little Wrens Learning

This week, Little Wrens have been exploring Chinese New Year. We shared the story The Great Race and learned all about how the animals earned their place in the zodiac. The children even took part in their own races, just like the animals in the story!

We have been busy getting crafty too, creating beautiful dancing dragons and colourful lanterns. Alongside this, we have been developing our fine motor skills by using chopsticks and fine paintbrushes to create Chinese symbols — showing great concentration and control.
